For three of his four years at UF, Cole applied for and received a $1,000 scholarship from FRSA’s Educational and Research Foundation. “It was cool to be an award recipient and to have the help while at school,” Cole remembers. “I also appreciated the opportunity to give back after I graduated and was working in the industry.” In the years following his graduation, Cole donated three $1,000 contributions to the Foundation, making the funds available for future scholarship recipients – his part of paying it forward.
