What is the Convention?
FRSA’s Convention & Expo run concurrently and have been an annual event for 104 years. This year’s Convention consists of educational seminars, golf and clay shooting tournaments, the Welcome Reception, Business Lunch and Jimmy Buffett Casino Party.
What is the Expo?
FRSA's Expo is a trade show where industry vendors display their products, services and equipment. Roofing and sheet metal professional contractors gather to learn about the latest products, services and technologies and to network with fellow industry representatives.
Where is the Expo taking place?
The Expo is taking place at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center (Halls A-E) in Kissimmee.
What are the hours for the Expo?
Thursday, June 11 – 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Friday, June 12 – 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
What is the cost to attend the Expo?
The Expo is free to attend for contractors in the roofing and sheet metal industry. Complimentary badges are available at www.floridaroof.com. For non-exhibiting manufacturers, distributors and suppliers there is a $295 fee per person and a $995 fee for industry service providers.
Do exhibitors need to purchase tickets?
No, exhibitors only need a complimentary badge to access the show floor but are welcome to purchase tickets for any social events or seminars they would like to attend.
How do I make a hotel reservation?
The host hotel, Gaylord Palms Resort, is sold out. However, we have an additional room block available at Delta Hotels, a Marriott property, located less than a mile from Gaylord Palms. the room rate is $118++ and includes parking and resort fees.
Is parking available?
Yes, you can self-park at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center for a discounted rate of $23 plus tax per day. Be sure to mention FRSA at check-out to receive this rate. Valet parking is available for $55 plus tax per day.
Can children attend the Expo?
Yes, but badges will NOT be issued to any attendee under 18 years of age. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are NOT permitted on the show floor during exhibitor move-in or move-out.
Do you have events for the family?
Yes! There are Ladies' Program events on Thursday and Friday and Kids' Program events from Wednesday evening through Friday afternoon. There is also a Family Fun Event on Wednesday afternoon.
What is the cost to attend the Convention?
All events are available a la carte and cost will depend on purchase date and membership status. You may also purchase individual tickets for the sports tournaments on Wednesday. Tickets must be purchased to attend FRSA seminars. Individual tickets can be purchased when registering for the event at www.floridaroof.com by clicking "Register Now."
Where can I buy tickets?
You are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time by registering online at www.floridaroof.com. If available, tickets may be purchased onsite at FRSA’s Registration Desk located in the Gaylord Palms Convention Center (Expo Lobby - Level 1).
Do you have tickets I can give to my clients?
Please direct your customers to www.floridaroof.com to register online. They can also register onsite at the FRSA Registration Desk.
What is the cost to attend the educational seminars?
On Wednesday, June 10, FRSA is partnering with Certified Contractors Network (CCN) to offer a full-day seminar, CCN Contractor Bootcamp: Primal Selling System at a special rate. We're also offering a total of 27 seminars. All courses are designed specifically for contractors. Tickets may be purchased for individual seminars at $50 per hour. A ticket is required for all seminars. Please keep in mind that tickets are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. FRSA members receive a 20 percent discount.
How do I use my lunch vouchers?
When you pick up your badge and any tickets you have purchased, you will also receive lunch vouchers for a free lunch item on Thursday and Friday and admission to FRSA's Expo. To participate, you must present a voucher at the food court counter to receive your free lunch item.
What about the sports tournaments?
We offer two different sports tournaments that will take place on Wednesday, June 10. We have a golf tournament at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club (cost is $225 per person) and a clay shooting tournament at Tenoroc Shooting Range in Lakeland (cost is $135 per person). To register for tournaments, visit www.floridaroof.com and click "Register Now." Rates will increase after May 1, 2026.
Will there be a Welcome Reception this year?
Yes! FRSA will host the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, June 10 in the Gaylord Atrium. Come as you are and enjoy complimentary bars and food stations.
What is the Foundation Auction?
The Foundation Auction is the primary fundraiser for the FRSA Educational & Research Foundation. Exhibitors, suppliers, members and other businesses and individuals donate products, services, gift baskets, vacations and gift certificates to help raise money for this worthy cause. The money is used to provide educational seminars throughout the year and also funds scholarships awarded each year.
Can I donate to the Foundation Auction?

Can I bid on items at the Auction?
Absolutely! The Auction will be located outside the Expo Hall in the prefunction area. It will open 30 minutes before the Expo opens each day and remain open during Expo hours. It will close on Friday at 2:00 pm. You can see all available items and bid at any time through our online portal at www.floridaroof.com/items.
I heard there is a lot of walking to be done. Is this true?
Yes! So, make sure you wear comfortable shoes. It’s a bit of a hike from the parking lot to the FRSA Registration Desk, seminar rooms and Expo Hall, so please add a few extra minutes when you’re making your plans to attend.
What is the attire for the Convention & Expo?
Attire for the Convention, Expo, seminars and Welcome Reception is business casual. Casual tropical attire is encouraged for the Jimmy Buffett Casino Party. Meeting room temperatures vary, so remember to pack a sweater or light jacket.
