FRSA Seminar Updates - June 2020

As during the convention, we’ve planned 16 different seminars over three days that will cover important items contractors will need to know to keep their businesses running smoothly. Of paramount importance are the changes that will affect the Florida Building Code (FBC). Seven different code-related seminars are being offered that deal with the new changes going into effect December 31, 2020.
     In addition, the implementation of ASCE 7-16 will completely change the methods you use to gauge wind uplift. Nowhere is this more complex than with the installation of tile roofs. FRSA and the Tile Roofing Industry Alliance (TRI) have revised the FRSA-TRI Tile Installation Manual 6th Edition and are offering seminars on the topic. Read more
