	DESCRIPTION:   Click here to download registration form (PDF)   \n     Photo: Harald Weber   \n Completion of the entire two-day course fulfills the following training requirements: \n \n OSHA "Competent Person" - federal requirement for work involving removal and/or the disturbance of Class II asbestos-containing roofing materials (shingles, BUR, etc.). \n Florida Asbestos Abatement Laws training requirement for "On Site Roofing Supervisor" who must be present for work involving removal and/or disturbance of Class II asbestos containing roofing material (F.S. 469.004(3)). \n \n Extra Bonus: Full course completion earns 16 hours of Continuing Education for Florida registered or certified contractors and meets State requirements for Workplace Safety Training and Business Practices. \n Completion of the first day only fulfills the following requirements: \n \n OSHA initial 8-hour course requirement for all employees involved in the removal and/or disturbance of Class II asbestos-containing roofing materials, OR \n OSHA 8-hour Annual Refresher training for all employees working with Class II Asbestos Containing Roofing Materials (F.S. 469.004 (3)). Asbestos Licensing Unit approval – 0006293 \n Refunds are available with 72-hour (three business days) advanced notice. There is a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations with less notice are eligible for a 50% credit toward a future seminar, excluding Convention seminars. No show – no refund or credit.
