Job Description
As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance on commercial roofing systems. Your expertise in roofing techniques, problem solving abilities, and commitment to quality workmanship will contribute to the continued success and stellar reputation of our company.
Responsibilities
1. Roofing Inspections and Assessments:
Embrace our core value of putting the pedal to the metal by conducting thorough inspections of commercial roofing systems, diligently identifying and assessing any issues or areas of concern.
Document findings and prepare detailed reports outlining the condition of the roof and recommended repair or maintenance actions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Utilize advanced tools and equipment, including thermal imaging devices, moisture meters, and visual assessments, to perform precise inspections.
Uphold our commitment to safety by identifying and addressing potential hazards and making recommendations for corrective measures.
2. Roofing Repairs and Maintenance:
Demonstrate your expertise and problem-solving skills by performing repairs and maintenance on various types of commercial roofing systems, including flat roofs, metal roofs, and shingle roofs.
Embody our core value of doing all the little things well by diagnosing and troubleshooting roofing issues, such as leaks, punctures, and damaged flashing.
Take pride in replacing or repairing damaged roofing materials, including membranes, shingles, insulation, and flashings, to ensure the roofing system's integrity.
Apply appropriate sealants and coatings with precision to ensure superior waterproofing and protection.
3. Work Order Execution:
Interpret work orders accurately, ensuring a clear understanding of the required tasks and timelines.
Collaborate effectively with the Service Manager to schedule and prioritize service requests, exemplifying our no jerk zone core value.
Exhibit a proactive approach by gathering and organizing the necessary materials, tools, and equipment for each assigned job.
Put the pedal to the metal and efficiently execute work orders, adhering to project specifications, industry standards, and company policies.
4. Customer Service:
Embrace our team player attitude by communicating with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs with care.
Provide clear and comprehensive explanations of work performed and offer thoughtful recommendations for further actions or maintenance.

Respect the customer's property and maintain a clean and organized work area, minimizing disruption during service.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Accurately record and document all service activities, including repairs, materials used, and time spent on each project, with meticulous attention to detail.
Prepare detailed reports and work summaries, embodying our commitment to making your future at OSR, to be submitted to the Service Manager or project stakeholders.
Collaborate seamlessly with the Service Administrator to ensure proper documentation and timely invoicing.

$20-$25 Hourly
Flexible Work Environment

- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial roofing installation, repair, or maintenance, showcasing your knowledge and proficiency.
- Exhibit extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and repair techniques.
- Show proficiency in using various roofing tools, equipment, and safety procedures to uphold our commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Interpret work orders, specifications, and technical drawings with accuracy and precision.
