Advanced Roofing has been in business since 1983, growing steadily on our overriding "Commitment to Quality", which has made us the #1 commercial re-roofing company in Florida.
We’re currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. Opportunities exist in Tampa and Orlando. Advanced roofing offers competitive compensation and benefits.
Objective: Targets and increase sales in Central Florida’s commercial re-roof markets. Build relationships and term contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Attend Associations Meetings weekly
• Attend Central Florida Tradeshows for potential leads and contacts
• Follow up with previous clients
• Identify new business opportunities for roofing and solar
• Identify and contact key decision makers for re-roof projects
• Set up lunches and mixers with potential clients
• Cold calls to create new business
MEETINGS:
• Weekly sales review meeting
• 3-5 associations to generate opportunities and relationships

Education

4-year degree or equivalent preferred

Skills

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Successful background investigation
• Valid Driver’s license
• Successful pre-employment drug test
• 3-5 years commercial roofing/construction sales preferred
• 3-5 years marketing experience preferred
• Travel up to 50%
• Excellent communication, presentation and follow up skills required
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Participate in local community, non-profit, or governmental activities/organizations for both company business development and personal improvement
